2. What these terms cover

These terms govern the use of the inwardis.com website, the free trial, and the purchase of Inwardis subscriptions. The use of the Inwardis software itself is governed by the License Agreement, which you accept when requesting a trial key or purchasing a license. Where these terms and the License Agreement overlap, the License Agreement governs the software.

3. What you are buying

Inwardis is self-hosted software: you download it and run it on your own infrastructure, at your own responsibility. A purchase gives you:

• a perpetual license key — it never expires, and the version you run keeps working regardless of your subscription status, our availability, or your network;
• access to new releases for as long as your subscription is active, through your personal download link — every version you were entitled to remains re-downloadable there indefinitely;
• reasonable-effort support during an active subscription, tied to a valid license.

If your subscription lapses, nothing happens to your installation — you lose only access to releases published after your paid period. Prices are shown on the pricing page; applicable VAT is determined and shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, which you can do at any time via the customer portal linked in your emails (lost the email? have your links re-sent) — cancellation stops future charges and never affects your installed software.

4. The free trial

The 30-day trial is free, requires no payment details, and includes every feature. One trial per email address and one trial per installation — an installation that has used a trial accepts only a full license afterwards. When a trial ends, the software drops to read-only; your data stays viewable and exportable.

5. Delivery

Delivery is immediate and by email: your license key and your personal download link are sent to the address you provide. You are responsible for providing a working address and for keeping the key and link confidential — see the License Agreement on sharing.

6. Withdrawal (consumers) and refunds

If you buy as a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Because a license key is digital content delivered immediately, checkout asks you to confirm, before you pay, that you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal once the key is delivered — the standard mechanic for digital purchases. You cannot complete a purchase without ticking that box, and the confirmation is recorded with the date and the wording you were shown. Beyond rights that mandatory law grants you, purchases are non-refundable: the free trial exists precisely so you can evaluate everything before paying. If a refund is granted in an individual case, the associated license terminates.

7. Acceptable use of this site

The trial, contact and checkout endpoints are for their stated purposes and are rate-limited. Automated abuse — bulk trial requests, scraping the forms, probing the billing service — may result in requests being refused and, for customers, in termination for breach.

8. Liability

The website and its content are provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or from purchases under these terms, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent or gross negligence, or limits rights that mandatory law — including consumer law of your country of residence — grants you. The software's own warranty and liability terms are in the License Agreement.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes are resolved by Harju County Court, Estonia — except that if you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections and jurisdiction of your country of residence, and you may also turn to the EU online dispute resolution platform.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the version published here at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Material changes are announced to subscribers by email.
